Seven scientific facts testify That Prophet Muhammad is sincere

In this research we will demonstrate how certain scientific facts mentioned in the sayings (hadith) of the Prophet have been proved to be true by modern science.

First Fact

Prophet Muhammad said to his companions, “This subject will reach all places, as night and day do”, which means that Islam will spread to reach all places just as night and day reach every place on earth. Indeed, today statistics show that the religion of Islam is in every place in the world! According to these statistics, by the year 2025 Islam will be the first religion globally according to the number of followers: this is not an exaggerated statement, as these figures have come from non Muslim specialists.

Statistical experts confirm that Islam is the world’s fastest growing religion and that there are Muslims in all countries, albeit in varying proportions of the population. Is this not what the Prophet Muhammad said to his companions 1,400 years ago?

Second Fact

The Prophet said, “The ground was made for me as a place for prayer and also as a method of cleansing.” (Hadith narrated by Muslim]. Scientists have recently discovered that there are antibiotics in the soil which can eradicate the most obstinate bacteria, proving that soil can be a disinfectant. After many laboratory tests, they found that in a 24 hour period soil removed an entire colony of bacteria, while a similar colony of bacteria not placed in the same soil had multiplied forty five times.

Scientists have thus discovered that soil contains antibiotics and that without this feature life would not continue because of viruses and bacteria that could reach humans and might destroy them, but God with his mercy has provided this cleansing feature to ensure the continuation of our life. We have to thank God for this blessing.

Third Fact

Prophet Muhammad spoke very carefully about a scientific fact realized by scientists few years ago. He said, “God will not hold the Day of Resurrection until the Arab land becomes green and rivers flow again.” (Hadith narrated by Muslim). Scientifically, it has now been proved that once the Arabian peninsula was full of greenery and rivers through satellite images which confirm that there are buried rivers under the Arabian sands.

One of the great scientists of the American space agency (NASA) says that these photographs had shown that in the past the desert of Rub « Al Khali was covered with rivers and lakes like Europe and that one day in the future they may be back again, as referenced by the prophetic Hadith.

Fourth Fact

There is prophetic Hadith concerning the Day of Resurrection which is considered to be one of the scientific miracles in the prophetic Sunna. In it the Prophet says, “Don't you see that the lightning comes and back in the blink of an eye?” (Hadith narrated by Muslim).

There is complete identification between this saying and a recent scientific discovery that a lightning flash is produced when a bolt of lightning moves from a cloud to the ground and back again! In the hadith Prophet Muhammad spoke very carefully about the phases of lightning and also determined the time as being that of a blink of an eye!

Scientists have found that lightning has many phases and that the most important phases are the descending phase and ascending phase. The duration of a lightning flash is 1/25th of a second the same as it takes an eye to blink: is not this the same as the Prophet Muhammad said 1,400 years ago?

Fifth Fact

Recently, scientists had discovered that the prefrontal lobe area (upper front) of the brain) controls right decision making and that as long as this area is active and efficient, decisions taken are more accurate and wise.

Prophet Muhammad said in a supplication: “Oh God, my forehead is between your hands.” (Hadith narrated by Ahmad). In this prayer there is full submission of the Prophet e to his God may He be exalted, as God controls as He wills and predetermines whatever He wills.

Scientists have also discovered that this frontal area plays a vital role in cognition, orientation, problem solving and creation. Thus Prophet Muhammad submitted this area for his God.

After lengthy studies on brain activities, scientists have discovered that the most important area is the frontal lobe (forepart of the head), as this area is responsible for creation and orientation. Prophet Muhammad confirmed that this area is so important a miracle which testifies that the Prophet is sincere .

How could he know about such a phenomenon at a time when no one else knew anything about it? God taught him all this, as He says, “And taught you that which you knew not. And Ever Great is the Grace of Allah unto you.” (Sura An Nisa, ayah 113).

Sixth Fact

Prophet Muhammad said, “One of the signs of the Day of Resurrection is the sudden death.” (Hadith narrated by At Tabarani). Certainly, in this hadith there is a scientific miracle concerning a medical fact which is considered as being a testimony that Prophet Muhammad is God's Prophet. United Nations’ statistics confirm that the phenomenon of sudden death has appeared in recent times and is increasing despite all preventive measures.

Cardiologists confirm that the sudden death phenomenon has spread considerably in the last few years despite developments in medicine, and that the number of people dying by this phenomenon are increasing. Is this not the same as was indicated in the prophetic hadith?

Seventh Fact

Most scientists confirm that senility is the best natural end for humans and that any attempt to prolong life above certain limits will cause many negative effects, one of which is cancer. Lee Silver from Princeton University in America says, “Any attempt to reach immortality is to oppose nature” Therefore, it is useless to spend money to treat senility, as many millions of dollars would be required.

This is the same as Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Oh you slaves of God, you have to treat yourselves from illness, as each illness has a treatment except senility, it has no treatment.” (Hadith narrated by Ahmad).

Thus science gives us some new facts which verify and prove the truthfulness of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the message of Islam.
