The Prophet ﷺ never refused this thing

The Prophet ﷺ never refused this thing

The smell emanating from a person plays a significant role in his life, because smells are among the first qualities that an interlocutor or society pays attention to.

It is reported that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used incense and spent money on its purchase, despite the fact that from the moment of his birth he was clean. The very body of the Messenger of God ﷺ had the sweetest and most pleasant smell and people even collected drops of his sweat.

And here it should be emphasized that the Prophet ﷺ never rejected incense presented as a gift.

It is reported from Ibn Umar that the Messenger of God ﷺ said, “There are three things that cannot be refused: a pillow, incense, and milk.” (Narrated by Imam At-Tirmidhi).

It is reported from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet ﷺ said, “Whoever is offered incense, let him not refuse it!” (Narrated by Imam Muslim).

Imam al-Bukhari reports a hadith in which Anas said, “The Prophet ﷺ never refused incense.”

It was reported from Hanan (al-Basri) from Abu ‘Uthman an-Nahdi that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “If any of you is offered a fragrant plant, let him not refuse it, for they are from Paradise.” (Narrated by Imam At-Tirmidhi).

The Prophet ﷺ made distinctions in incense for men and women.

“Indeed, the best fragrance for men is that which has a scent and no color. And the best fragrance for women is that which has a colour but no scent.” (Narrated by Imam at-Tirmidhi).

And Allah knows best!

Let the Soul Grow

The Echo of Feminism and the Voice of Faith

In our time, the loud voices of feminism echo even into the hearts of Muslim women.   This echo, rolling across the world, sounds loud and insistent, sometimes so powerful that it can knock down those who have not yet firmly established themselves on the path of truth. On social media, on...
