And We Send the Winds Fertilizing

Meteorologists have proved that winds have an important role in forming the clouds as they carries water vapour from the seas and oceans to the air's upper layers, where the water atoms condense to form clouds.

They believe that wind plays a fertilizing role as it carries dust atoms and fine salt and these atoms ascend to the upper layers to form drops which make clouds.

That is exactly what Allah Almighty said fourteen centuries ago about rain: “And We send the winds fertilizing (to heavily fill the clouds with water), then cause the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We give it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. (Sura Al-Hijr, ayat 22).

Glory to Allah, Who told Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) this scientific fact as he was an illiterate man and grew up in a Bedouin society.

He is Allah the Creator of everything Who says about Himself, “That is Allah, your Lord; none has the right to be worshipped but He, the Creator of all things. So worship Him (Alone), and He is Disposer of all things.” (Sura Al- An’am, ayat 102).

The Intelligence of Bees

According to a recent study, scientists have found that the nectar of most flowers accumulates during the morning. The study also stated that bees are smarter at distinguishing smells during the early hours of the day than the rest of the day. Such features help bees collect the nectar and produce honey well. Scientists wonder how bees knew that there is more nectar in the morning so as to be more efficiently at work during that time. Is it not God Who guides and inspires bees and says to them as in the holy Koran: “Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you]. There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought.” (Sura Nahl, ayat 69).

Earth

This is the earth that God subjected to us. From outer space, it looks like a beautiful blue ball. Notice with me how the clouds appear with a white color and the seas appear blue while the land appears brown, but what represents the green color? It is the vegetative cover that God created for us, as the earth is full of trees and plants and without these plants life will not continue.

The strange thing in this earth that it appears like a suspended ball in the space and this lets us ask: who holds this heavy ball so as not to go away?

It is Almighty God that says in his holy book: “Indeed, Allah holds the heavens and the earth, lest they cease. And if they should cease, no one could hold them [in place] after Him.” (Sura Fatir, ayat 41).

So God be He blessed and exalted subjected the force of gravity to hold this earth so as not to fly or go away and remain in its orbit around the Sun, so Glory to God!
