The keeper of happiness

The keeper of happiness

The keeper of happiness

Woman has a great mission on the Earth that can hardly be overestimated. This is obvious, because God the Almighty has entrusted the beautiful halves of humanity with many honourable duties: to be a wife, a daughter, a mother, a sister. Being a believing woman is not so much a duty as a gift, the price of which you understand more and more every day of your life.

Of course, a woman must fulfill her destiny with dignity and play the role assigned to her in the best possible way. God the Almighty empowered females with everything to accomplish that task. The Creator endowed a woman with such beautiful traits as gentleness, meekness, tenderness, kindness, patience, understanding, compassion and, finally, love.

It is thanks to these qualities of the soul that for every woman it is possible and she should bring happiness and tranquility into this life. Having a certain social status in the modern world a woman performs a particular role assigned to her. Today we see that a believing woman, if she has the desire, ability and opportunity, can successfully study and combine housekeeping with professional activities.

And here, as they say, the main thing is to get your priorities straight. Although we live in the 21st century which is globalized, advanced and removing the boundaries between man and woman, as we know, the best place for a woman to stay is her home. This is evidenced by the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), who, like no one better understood the female nature and her essence. The Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) compared women with crystal boxes, meaning their fragility and preciousness, and, accordingly, noting that there should be a careful attitude for them. Therefore, there is no doubt that a woman can and should achieve the best results and the highest successes within the walls of her home.

And this does not mean at all that she can afford to be ignorant, or spend days in empty talks, or grumble about life and circumstances, and so on. Every believing woman should follow the example of truly great women of all times, who impressed the world with their noble disposition.

Let us remember two of them. They are our mothers Khadija and Aisha (may God be pleased with them), who were the wives of the venerable Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). What an amazing woman Khadija (may God be pleased with her) was. No woman could take her place in the heart of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). This beautiful, honest, intelligent, active, courageous and decisive woman not only successfully ran her business (she carried on trade) but was also a devoted wife and friend for her husband, as well as a wonderful mother for children. And, as you know, she was delighted with the news of entering Paradise during her lifetime.

The Almighty exalted this woman for her humility, patience, perseverance, for her love, with which she generously endowed her family. Aisha, the daughter of Abu Bakr (may God be pleased with them), had a keen mind and excellent memory and was a very capable and educated woman.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said that people should learn from her two-thirds of their religion. These words are enough to understand how extensive her knowledge was. Having remained a widow, for several decades she continued to benefit Islam, spreading the knowledge received from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

Now, the role of a woman in this life is significant, and accordingly, her responsibility is great as well. It does not matter whether she is a wife or not, whether she has children or not. The value of a woman is undeniable, because the Almighty created her like that. All that remains is to trust the Creator and try every day to make this life a little better.

Let the Soul Grow

Science surprisingly confirms the wisdom revealed 1,500 years ago in the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. I was given another reason to reflect on this when reading an excerpt from a lecture by Carl Gustav Jung, the founder of analytical psychology.   The psychologist asks a question that...
