The spring hijab: make yourself bloom

The spring hijab: make yourself bloom

Spring is rapidly entering our everyday life. It is the best time to lose weight, to clean up, to get rid of all that is unnecessary, to learn, to change one’s self and to act. And for all these wonderful purposes we need new spring clothes that are fresh in March, blooming in April and bright in May. Well, let us bring a few spring touches to our everyday wardrobe and turn to global fashion designers for inspiration.

1. Blue minimalism

Blue colour is refreshing, inspiring and pure. If you dreamed of wearing blue wear from head to toe, then this spring is for you! This season, blue will be everywhere coats, sweatshirts, trousers and even boots and belts will be coloured a cobalt shade.

2. Denim skirts

Even the world’s couturiers are tired of tiny shorts and skirts; they have been replaced by long denim skirts loved by many Muslim women, which are ideally suited to any situation.

3. Tropics on the dress

Vines, exotic plants, bright flowers and palm branches on clothes were one of the main trends of the springsummer 2020 season. Tropical prints will create for you a light summer resort mood and bring a unique note to your wardrobe.

4. Flowery field

We can no longer imagine summer without dresses that look like a blooming meadow. Modern designers know this. At the same time large detailed buds are out of fashion this season. Thus one should give preference to small, delicate floral prints as if drawn by the hand of a child.

5. Half fuchsia dress

Off-White, Comme des Garçons, Dries Van Noten, Nina Ricci, Valentino and other fashion masters presented voluminous, long, floating dresses in bright pink at the shows. If you want to meet fashion trends and make childhood dreams come true, than feel free to purchase a fuchsia-colored outfit.

6. White shirt dress

A true perfectionist prefers a strict, neat dress. A snow white shirt dress can be a basic element of your wardrobe and you may create dozens of trendy looks with it. Put on loafers or sandals, a bag or backpack, a scarf or a readymade hijab.

7. Needlework

The last year springsummer season gave the green light to all lovers of the handmade. Home handicrafts are one of the main trends that gift space to your imagination. Wicker bags, hand-painted dresses, embroidered scarves, knitted cardigans will make your look unique.

8. Nomad style

Elongated lines and layering are a key trend, providing maximum length, as in tunics or relaxed nomad styles. Long capes with a hood, a sweatshirt, woven designs, leather belts that adorn the tops of shoes, and bags wrapped in yarn all these allow Muslim women to look modern and stylish, while observing all the norms of their religion.

The Echo of Feminism and the Voice of Faith

In our time, the loud voices of feminism echo even into the hearts of Muslim women.   This echo, rolling across the world, sounds loud and insistent, sometimes so powerful that it can knock down those who have not yet firmly established themselves on the path of truth. On social media, on...

Let the Soul Grow

Science surprisingly confirms the wisdom revealed 1,500 years ago in the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. I was given another reason to reflect on this when reading an excerpt from a lecture by Carl Gustav Jung, the founder of analytical psychology.   The psychologist asks a question that...
