About a tested method for the successful resolution of cases

Muhyiddin Ibn al ‘Arabi (may God purify his heart) said, “If anyone is in need of something, let him read the sura ‘al Fatiha’ forty times after evening prayer and two raka’ats of optional (Ratiba) prayer.”

Note that one should not get up before completing the reading of the sura ‘al Fatiha’ the required number of times. After reading the verses, let him turn to the Almighty with his wishes and there is no doubt that Allah will help! This is a proven method, and we found it to be useful. Then, after reading the sura ‘al Fatiha’ 40 times, the following prayer (Dua) should be pronounced:

لهِي عِلْمُكَ كَافٍ عن السُّؤَالِ اِكْفِنِي بحَقِّ الْفَاتِحَةِ سُؤلاً وَكَرَمُكَ كَافٍ عَنِ الْمَقَاِل أَكْرِمْنِي بِحَقَ الْفَاتِحَةِ مَقَالاً وَحَصِّل مَا فِي ضمِيري

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Sura alFatiha is open for appealing to believers in Allah with their wishes. He who reads the sura ‘al Fatiha’ over clean water 70 times for 7 days, and then, after blowing on it, drinks it, God, by His mercy, bestows knowledge and wisdom, cleans his heart from pervasive thoughts, grants him such an exceptional memory and ability to grasp everything on the fly and that he never forgets anything even if he heard it only once.” This is shown in the book “Sirr al Fatiha”.

One of the properties of this sura is that if a person suffering from eye disease, reads it 41 times between sunnah and obligatory morning prayers, then by permission of Allah he will be recovered from this illness very soon. Today reading sura ‘al Fatiha’ in this manner is of great benefit in treating eye and other diseases; this is a tested and verified method, praise be to Allah! The secret of success lies in the positive opinion of a patient (about the method) and his confidence.

He who wants to be cured of toothache reads this sura in the above order, by the grace of God will be relieved of suffering.

Also, if anyone reads it in that order, while bidding farewell to his friend departing on a trip, then Allah will take his friend under His protection and he will return home unharmed.

One of the righteous people, speaking about the special properties inherent in this sura, said, “He who reads sura ‘al Fatiha’ seven times, putting his hand on a sore spot, and then recites seven times:

then God will heal him.” This method of relieving from pain has been tested and confirmed, as stated in the book “Fath al Malik al Majid.”

Two Reasons Hindering the Fulfillment of Wishes

Know, that sometimes people use these above methods for treatment, but do not achieve their goals. This occurs for two reasons:

  • 1) If a man who reads the sura is one who is disobedient to God and does not deserve beneficial effects and its manifestations.
  • 2) When someone reads it, doubting its power or just wants to test it in practice.

And if something happens from the deadly poisonous effects of the filth dirty souls capable of incurring death, and their eyes that inflict destruction, and when these are opposed by pure and noble souls with the true comprehension of the hidden meanings of the Sura, that contain oneness of God, sole hope and praise for Him, Glorious and Most High he or she will be relieved from the effects of those devilish souls and, no doubt, will be healed. So says the book “Shams al Ma’arif” (‘Khazina al Asrar’, p. 118).

Indeed, there are many advantages and special properties of Sura al Fatiha and it is very difficult to describe all of them. We assume that the above said is sufficient. To learn more on this subject please consult the following books: “Fath al Malik al Majid”, “Khazina alAsrar”, “Shams al Ma’arif” and others. May Allah give us perfect faith and make us beneficial to others.
