Ethics and morality in virtual space

Instagram, Facebook, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki and Twitter are the largest social networks, which over time can become an increasingly dangerous source of infection, especially for young, fragile minds.

One of the latest trends that makes us think about the future of our generation is the appearance on social networks of many groups that undermine the dignity and honour of an individual, nation or denomination. Half of the trouble is when a person is simply a member of such an Internet association, but it is much worse when he takes an active part in discussing and insulting people whose videos or photos were posted in the group. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Whoever blames a Muslim for what he has not committed, let him prepare a place in Hell for himself.” (Narrated by Imam Ahmad). A true Muslim should be a role model in all situations and under all circumstances.
