Do not waste your time!

Do not waste your time!

Do not waste your time!

We do not notice how the Internet has gradually become an integral part of our lives. And many learn to live there - on social networks, escaping from reality and everyday life.

For many of us, the life that strangers show on their social networks is a dream. We dream of getting what others have, of living the life they live. After all, they present everything so beautifully... But is everything really so perfect?

Islam teaches us not to envy. And for this we need to look not at how people with great incomes live but at those families whom Allah has endowed with less than us. And then we will experience gratitude to the Almighty and compassion for the needy and envy will not penetrate our hearts. Because, in fact, we live better than many living on this planet. This is where we should concentrate our attention. Not on bright pictures and videos that people make money from by creating staged footage but on how many blessings the Almighty has endowed us with and how many loving people surround us. We must think about how much that is useful we can do today, how to please our loved ones.

Believe me, behind colourful photos on the Internet there can be a lot of pain and disappointment, unfulfilled hopes, lack of love, understanding and much more. Therefore, do not focus on the screen without knowing what is behind it. Better learn wisdom from the older generation, benefit society and please your parents. Create a cozy, joyful environment at home, so that everyone who enters it feels pleasant and comfortable. Give your loved ones warmth, love, care, tenderness and attention. Engage in your own development. Read books and study what interests you. Pack your day with lots of useful things to do, both for yourself and for those around you.

You are an individual and should not copy someone else’s life. After all, you see only one side of other peoples’ lives, not knowing what it hides inside itself. It is better to take care of yourself. Reveal your abilities and talents and when your life is filled with meaning, you will no longer be interested in how others live. You will definitely not want to waste your precious time every day watching someone else’s life. Because yours will sparkle with new, bright colours! Spend your life usefully - you only have one!

The Echo of Feminism and the Voice of Faith

The Explorer of Natural Laws: Al-Jahiz

Dialogue or Argument in the Family

Dialogue and argument are similar in meaning. Both involve an exchange of opinions on a specific topic.   However, dialogue is conducted politely, with careful listening and an exchange of knowledge, allowing each person to learn something new. An unworthy argument, however, is more like a...

The Digital Whirlwind: How Not to Lose Oneself in the World of Social Media
